रोहित शर्मा को वनडे कप्तान के पद से हटाए जाने पर सोशल मीडिया की प्रतिक्रिया सामने आई – ‘सम्मानजनक विदाई के हकदार’

ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ आगामी तीन मैचों की एकदिवसीय श्रृंखला के लिए रोहित शर्मा के भारत के एकदिवसीय कप्तान बने रहने को लेकर काफी उम्मीदें थीं। हालाँकि, शुभमन गिल को भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड ने पूर्णकालिक एकदिवसीय कप्तान नियुक्त किया है।

रोहित शर्मा ने अपनी कप्तानी और बल्लेबाजी से समग्र दृष्टिकोण से भारतीय 50 ओवर के क्रिकेट की तस्वीर बदल दी। दिसंबर 2021 में पूर्णकालिक भूमिका मिलने पर रोहित ने टीम की मानसिकता को सुधारने का भी निश्चय किया, अपने व्यक्तिगत प्रदर्शन पर ध्यान देने के बजाय टीम को प्राथमिकता देते हुए।

(56 में से 42 मैच जीते) जिन एकदिवसीय मैचों में उन्होंने कप्तानी की। उन्होंने बल्ले से भी शानदार प्रदर्शन किया और टीम के रन रेट को बढ़ाने की अतिरिक्त ज़िम्मेदारी भी निभाई। उन्होंने 55 पारियों में क्रमशः 52.20 की औसत और 111.97 की स्ट्राइक रेट से 2506 रन बनाए।

रोहित शर्मा के नेतृत्व में हाल ही में भारत ने  2025 चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी जीती। यह रोहित शर्मा की कप्तानी में भारतीय टीम द्वारा 2024 का टी20 विश्व कप जीतने के कुछ महीने बाद हुआ। सोशल मीडिया पर कप्तानी में बदलाव पर व्यापक चर्चा हुई, जिसमें रोहित शर्मा के योगदान और उनके आंकड़े भी चर्चा में रहे। रोहित शर्मा ने अपने पिछले प्रदर्शनों के लिए बहुत प्रशंसा प्राप्त की है।

For me, Rohit Sharma’s captaincy legacy will be how he reinvented his game so late in his career. After the 2022 T20 WC debacle, he spoke about being attacking, & he led the way and at the biggest stages – the two World Cups. Ofc, the two WC runs will always be special.
